The German Association for Pattern Recognition (DAGM)

The purpose of the association is the promotion of research and scientific work in the field of pattern recognition, the mutual exchange of experiences, and the joint approach to scientific and technological questions in the area of pattern recognition, both nationally and internationally. This mission shall be carried out in the spirit of cooperation and mutual consent.

For this purpose, both the annual DAGM German Conference for Pattern Recognition (DAGM GCPR) and the DAGM Awards are the most important instruments. Also, the DAGM represents German interests in the field of pattern recognition on an international level, particularly in the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).

DAGM GCPR (German Conference on Pattern Recognition)

The DAGM German Conference on Pattern Recognition (DAGM GCPR) is the annual symposium of the German Association for Pattern Recognition (DAGM). It is the national venue for recent advances in image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision and it follows the long tradition of the DAGM Symposia, renamed to DAGM GCPR in 2013 to reflect its increasing internationalization.
